Garden Plots
Garden plots are available for community members to hire for $20 per year. They offer the ability to grow fresh healthy fruit & vegetables for their own use if they do not have the space at home. If you are interested in your own garden plot, please contact the Centre or come in and talk to our friendly volunteers.
Tool Pool
Do you need to do your lawns or some repairs but don’t have the right tools? Our Tool Pool has mowers, whipper snippers, drills and a variety of other tools for hire. Tools can be collected from the Centre between 9am and 12:30pm Monday to Thursday, and need to be returned by 12pm the next day.
Cost is $5 per calendar year to become a Tool Pool member, and then power tools are $5 per hire and hand tools are $2 per hire.
Computer Lab
We have desktop computers, laptops and tablet devices for community use in our computer lab. Usage is free to local community members and devices are generally available from Monday to Friday unless classes are being held.
Norlane Community Centre can photocopy and laminate for a minimum cost.
Room Hire
We have a range of room hire options available for meetings, events and other activities.
Please take a look at this booklet that includes information about our different spaces, capacities and costs.
Be aware to hire a room with our Centre you must have Public Liability Insurance.
Community Treasures Op Shop
Located at 26 Rose Avenue, Norlane, Community Treasures Op Shop is run by volunteers, and offers daily specials and bargain finds. Specials are listed weekly on their Facebook page.
Donations are always appreciated, come on in and support your local community.
