Classes are held every Monday from 1pm-3pm. All are welcome and no experience is necessary. Materials are included. Booking are essential. Cost is $10.
Monday: Learning Art
Have you wanted to learn about the basics of how to draw and paint or what other things you can do in the art world? Classes held every Monday 10am – 12pm. Gold coin donation.
Tuesday: Tai Chi for all abilities
Classes are held every Tuesday 10-11.30am for beginners and those with previous experience. Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes. Cost $2.50
Tuesday: Art Group
Would you like to paint in a friendly, comfortable self help group? Come and join us every Tuesday 9am-1pm and have a cuppa. All art mediums invited. BYO materials.
Cost is $4.00
Wednesday: Ballroom Dancing
Learn the fundamentals of ballroom dancing in a relaxed environment. Wednesdays 10-11:30am. Cost is $5.
Thursday: Gardening Group
Have you got any gardening questions or ideas? Would you like to start a home garden but don’t know where to begin? Would you like to just pop around chat and a cuppa ? You can ask questions, share some knowledge or just come and chat over coffee. Join us Thursday mornings 10am to meet with our resident volunteer gardener, Stefan at Norlane.
Friday: Craft & Friendship
Come and enjoy afternoon tea and a laugh with a group of talented people of all ages. Fridays from 1-3pm. This is an opportunity to share your craft ideas or learn something new. BYO materials. Cost $1.00
Friday: Norlane Community Kitchen
Norlane Community Kitchen meets here every Friday from 10am-1pm to socialise, meet friends, cook and share a meal together. We also cook using veggies grown in our community garden. For further info, contact the centre on 5275 8124. Cost is $5.00
Friday: Digital Drop in
Digital Drop in is a space where you can learn about computers and anything digital in a safe and supported environment. Digital drop in held on Fridays from 10am until noon. Gold coin donation
Norlane Boomerang Bags
Boomerang Bags aims to reduce the use of plastic bags by engaging local communities to make bags from recycled materials. The Norlane group meets here every 2nd & 4th Friday from 1-3pm. If you like sewing or want to learn and have some spare time, come along and join in.
We have an ever-growing book shelf full of books to borrow from or add to. The bookswap is free and a great way to share resources in our neighbourhood.
Refreshed every Thursday from 1pm by Geelong Food Relief Centre and sponsored by Atwork Australia. Fruit, Vegetable, Bread & some pantry items available most weeks.
